Why are we afraid?
At birth we do not have the capacity for fear or phobia. We ‘inherit’ our behaviours as we develop throughout childhood and subsequent adulthood. For example a mother may talk about hiding under the table in thunderstorm; to an impressionable child this may manifest itself in a fear of thunder in later life. The expression ‘children learn what they live’ is a highly illustrative example of how we learn our fears, phobias and behaviours. It’s estimated that 10% of the population experience a fear or phobia. For some people this may be a mild problem, to others it can be a wholly debilitating problem
Brian can help you to overcome your phobia, he will assure you that you are not alone in having your particular fear and will help you to form a strategy under hypnosis to deal effectively with your concerns.
